Crystal Schroeder, Licensed Massage Therapist

   Crystal's passion to help heal people led her down the path of Massage Therapy. She graduated from New York College of Health Professions with an Associate Degree of Occupational Studies in August of 2015 & is a current member of the AMTA. Her goal is to improve the health & well-being of her clients, using a more holistic approach. She has in-depth knowledge of Anatomy & Physiology, Kinesiology, Pathology, & Medical Massage.

  Crystal's bodywork is very intuitive, & her style of massage is focused, slow, specific, deep, therapeutic & highly effective. Every client has their own individual needs, & through a thorough intake, Crystal is able to customize each treatment. She focuses on postural imbalances & ways to correct them through muscle manipulation & stretching. She educates her clients on specific strengthening exercises & other self-care activities, including stretches that they can do at home. She is skilled in Swedish, Aromatherapy, Deep Tissue, Sports, and Prenatal Massage & is FMT certified in Rock Pods & Rock Tape, and is now a certified Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques Posture & Pain Specialist.

  Crystal is currently employed at World Spa. She also freelances for massage-on-demand companies & works with her own private clientele, providing massages in-home or at a massage studio in Bryant Park. She is a former employee as a massage therapist at Equinox Sports Club & Equinox Greenwich Ave. in Manhattan and has lots of experience working with athletic clients. Her future goals are to become a Certified Tibetan Reiki Master, Acupuncturist & Doctor of Chinese Medicine. She strongly believes that the human body can heal itself! Sometimes all it needs is some helping healing hands!
